Executive Coaching
This program involves confidential one-on-one sessions dealing with anything the executive wants. The main values of the program include the introduction of an objective opinion to various aspects of the executive' s activities, acting as a sounding board, and detailed instruction for handling particular situations.
Many executives have said that they simply needed to talk to someone who was not a "yes man" or who was not directly affected by the consequences of a particular decision.
An assignment might be on a retainer basis over an extended period of time, an ad hoc assignment dealing with a particular situation, or a time-limited assignment with periodic "checkups".
Coaching assignments tend to fall into the following categories:
- Individual career strategy development, both short- and long-term
- Strategic planning
- Problem solving techniques
- Negotiation skills
- Committee, board, and other meeting facilitation
- Communication, presentation and media skills
- Memory training
- Time management
- Managing stress
- Image building
- Self-image enhancement
- Managing change
